Today I decided to make something different. I recycled an empty Pringles can–washed and dried–covering it first in a scrap of lovely cream damask, then covered that with pretty lace. I covered up the seams with 2 lengths of pink lace trim, which I also added to the opposite side of the can. I added a ruffle I made from sheer white ribbon to the bottom edge of the can, and topped that with a strand of pink faux pearls. I covered the lid inside and out with the same fabric, stitching two layers of gathered lace trims to the top piece of fabric before adhering that to the lid. I sewed a clip-on earring in the center of the laces, after cutting off the clip. EnJoy!
