Fabric Purses Gallery

Who do you know who would love to own one or more of these gorgeous bags? I love recycling fabrics and garments into new bags. The silk for the first bag came from FabMo, an organization that receives donations of fabric and other interior designer samples, and passes them on to the public. The tee shirts were worn out and needed a new life. The sweaters I found at a thrift shop, which I felted and turned into these awesome shoulder bags. Hand embroidery on the black bag and a rhinestone button gives it a little pizzaz. And the produce bags were made from a recycled cotton valance. I have just a few of those left, and can make more from other fabrics.
