Have you ever looked at an everyday object and thought, that could become something beautiful? Quadira sees possibility where others see waste, transforming paper, fabric, trims, and forgotten household items into one-of-a-kind purses, journals, and objets d’art.

Born into a family of artists and writers, Quadira learned hand bookbinding from her father, illustrator Aldren A. Watson, and sewing, embroidery, and poetry from her mother, author Nancy D. Watson. Those early lessons grew into a lifelong passion and a body of work that’s been featured at Nevada City’s Hot Summer Nights, Victorian Christmas, and the 2018 Open Studios tour.

Every piece Quadira creates carries a story. Yours begins the moment you hold one in your hands.

Quadira also offers private and group art classes– because creativity is meant to be shared.
