Aren’t these little pockets/pouches adorable? They are made from recycled book pages sewn together and are quite sturdy. Some have pockets within pockets that hold cards and blank paper to write or draw on; great for adding to an album or for writing, drawing or pasting in photos. A great way to present a large cookie or a chocolate bar to a loved one, as well! Each one measures approximately 5.75″ x 6.25″ and sells for twenty-six USD plus shipping. Here is my latest album, made with the Bloom collection from Graphic 45. This video will show you the inside of the journal. I also made a tag with the Bloom paper as background, and scraps from other paper collections adding embellishments. This was made for a challenge to use many different G45 papers in one project. I had the brilliant idea to make a travel altar in a box! Here is the one I created for myself; I can customize for your preferences. Mine holds the elements of fire (candle), water, earth (stone) and air (feather), along with some dried flowers and images of my Sufi teachers and our Sufi master. EnJoy! This past Sunday, February 10th, I celebrated a major birthday, yay! One of my guests was born on the 11th, so she came to my party and we had a good time. Of course yesterday was Valentine’s Day, and although I don’t have a love in my life at present, I gave myself the gift of a raspberry shortbread bar for dessert (oops, I forgot to take a photo!).
