I had a sign from a dollar store that I wanted to revamp; originally it had sunflowers and the words “Give thanks.” I forgot to take a photo of the original, oops. Unfortunately the sign got a bit warped from being hung outside for a long time; this new version will remain indoors!
Using papers from Graphic 45 “A Lady’s Diary” collection, I pieced images, lifted a couple off the page with bits of foam backing, and added cording and gimp along the top edge. I made the large flowers from some lace in my stash that is the perfect color, and added some peachy flat-back pearls and faceted glass ones for some subtle sparkle. I replaced the twine hanger with beads from my stash, and finshed off the back with black felt. I’m quite please with how it turned out. EnJoy!
